While telehealth represents a new clinical approach, its foundation remains the compassionate relationship between the clinician and their patient. Our physicians are proud of the communities they serve and the patient services they provide.

Getting Started
The process with Adapt TeleHealth begins with a community identifying inadequate access to psychiatrists. Adapt TeleHealth and local clinics work together to design a program to meet the community's needs. The clinic then purchases a consistent number of hours per week which will be fulfilled by the qualified Adapt TeleHealth physician who is best suited to the needs of that clinic. Adapt TeleHealth System Engineers ensure a successful technical set up and training of local providers. Direct patient care begins after the set up and continues while we improve and expand our service relationship.

Direct Care or Consultation
We have options for both direct patient care and consultation:

In the direct care model, patients come to a local clinic and go to a room equipped for telemedicine. A physician is seen through high-resolution videoconferencing using encrypted technology. A clinic staff person serves as a physician extender, aiding in the use of technology and executing the physician's requests and orders.

In the consultation model, there are various options that allow primary care physicians to maintain care of their patients while having access to a psychiatrist for consultation or transfer of care
